Electrical and/ or Allround Forklift mechanic(s)

As an extension of our team we need experienced, skilled and versatile technicians who will deal with the entire technical process of diagnosing, rectifying faults and carrying out repairs, so that machines are ready for sale.

Our workshop is  part of our Technical/Operations department. Together with the Commercial department (Sales and Purchase). The Technical department forms the heart of our company. Six mechanics are working in our workshop.

We're asking for:

As an extension of our team we need experienced, skilled and versatile technicians who will deal with the entire technical process of diagnosing, rectifying faults and carrying out repairs, so that machines are ready for sale. The work areas are:

  1. Electrical systems
  2. Combustion engines
  3. Hydraulic systems
  4. Fault finding and diagnosis in the above systems, possibly by means of computer and diagnostic equipment.

- Troubleshooting
- Repairing

  • Electrical systems and components: driving controls, joysticks, drives
  • Engines: gas, diesel and LPG and electric
  • Hydraulic systems and components: cylinders, valves, drives

Focus on electrical or all-round mechanical repairs will be required, depending on your knowledge and experience.

After intense training you will be able to resolve all common issues on our standard machines and you will have the opportunity to extend your knowledge to more advanced technical repairs. Every mechanic is required to work in a team and take over repairs or help colleagues, depending on the workload.

We’re asking:

An enthusiastic, versatile, good mechanic with a technical education (preferably Vocational Education on a technical base) and several years of experience as a mechanic in the forklift, agricultural or commercial vehicle sector. Good proficiency in English and willingness to learn Dutch on the longer term is a must.

Knowledge of diagnosis software is a plus. You can work independently or in a team, always within our location in IJsselstein. We are looking for someone who is willing to work at our company for a longer period of time.
